Former master students Chris Hansen and Kristian Lund received the IDA’s Electrical
Candidate prize. The award is given by IDA (the Danish Society of Engineers) to the three best theses in Denmark, in the area of Electrical Engineering, published during the year 2016. Besides the public recognition for their excellent work, they also received a financial prize of 10000 Danish crowns.
Chris and Kristian studied Electrical Power Systems and High Voltage engineering (EPSH) and won with a thesis entitled “Harmonic Modelling & Analysis of a Cable Based Transmission System”, made under the supervision of Associate Professor Filipe Faria da Silva and in collaboration with Energinet.dk, via Dr. Christian Flytkjær Jensen.
