Abstract

The scope of this project is to achieve Proof-of-Concept of a next generation hybrid power plant controller in a Real-Time Control Hardware-in-the-Loop laboratory setup. The objectives are to investigate feasible architectures for a hybrid power plant, including configuration of power generation mix and capacity for given grid conditions and load demands, and to develop advanced control and operational strategies for the hybrid power plant operating in off-grid or grid connected conditions.
