Research to Business: Introductory Course
At this introductory course, you will get an introduction to a range of important disciplines within the commercialization of research and learn more about the potential for a career outside academia with a special focus on the Department of Energy Technology.

As a PhD student or researcher, you can either pursue a career inside or outside the university. Perhaps, you have a great research idea which can lead the way to building your own company and, thus, a new career path.
At this introductory course, you will be introduced to various important areas such as business development, funding opportunities, IPR and commercialization. The different disciplines can help you achieve insight in how to go from research to business and a career outside academia.
This introductory course is hosted in collaboration with the Department of Energy Technology at Aalborg University and will, therefore, apply a special focus within this field.
