The objective of this course is to give an understanding of the operation, design and control of Photovoltaic Power Systems, and to provide insight into some of the key challenges for higher penetration of photovoltaic energy into the electricity network.

Industrial/PhD Course on Application-Oriented Modelling of Renewable Energy Sources, Conversion and Energy Storage Systems (16– 19 MaRCH 2020)

This course provides an overview and hands-on experience into the most common modelling methods used for the design, analysis, and planning of solar photovoltaic (PV) generation, wind power (WP), and energy storage (ES) systems. The target audience are PhD students and practicing engineers, as well as researchers who aim to receive a comprehensive overview of modern renewable energy generation and storage systems.
